HOW LONG DOES EACH THERAPY SESSION TAKE?

An average treatment session is around 55 minutes with time for scheduling. The initial intake session however may take longer based on the history and needs of the client.

Therapy can be short-term or long-term based on each individual’s needs. Some people can begin to feel relief within six sessions while others need ongoing therapy. The more work you do inside and outside of therapy the faster you will see results

DOES DR. K PRESCRIBE MEDICATIONS?

Dr. K is a psychologist and only provides talk therapy services. She does not prescribed medications or do psychological testing.

 

You would need to see a psychiatrist or primary care physician for medication.

Medication can help treat symptoms, but does not teach you coping skills. You can also talk to your medical doctor about medication.

HOW CAN THERAPY HELP ME?

DOES DR. K TAKE INSURANCE?

Dr. K is an out of network provider but will help you submit to your insurance company for out of network benefit reimbursement.

Insurances that clients have submitted to include United Insurances, Blue Cross Blue Shield Insurances, Cigna, Aetna, ect...

WHAT ARE THE COSTS OF INVESTING IN YOURSELF?

Therapy sessions range from $85.00 to $350.00 based on the service and length of session, i.e. 30min vs. 2 hours.

There is not a separate charge for ART or Hypnotherapy. Dr. K doesn't believe in charging extra for a therapeutic tool that can bring about such great results.

Emotional Intelligence testing/training is $300, which includes testing fee

interpretation, report, and consultation.

Life coaching rates depends on package. 

If you would like more information, Dr. K can discuss pricing and services directly with you.

Therapy can help you cope with stressful situations or ongoing symptoms that cause you distress. Dr. K will help you gain new perspectives into yourself and your problems while teaching you lasting coping skills to facilitate change. You will become aware of any negative thoughts, beliefs, or patterns and how to change them.

 

She will work with you to achieve your goals as she becomes your therapist, coach, and motivator. Therapy can help hold you accountable to following through with change while lending a supportive environment. If you are not completely happy in life you can benefit from therapy.

Dr. K offers a variety of therapies and services and will work with you to find the best fit.

WHAT PAYMENT IS ACCEPTED?

Credit cards and FSA/HSA cards area accepted. 

Payment is due at the beginning of the session. 

Please be aware there is a 36 hour late cancellation fee.
